THE DARKEST HOUR 

" ..call unto me and i shall answer thee "

The statement  means "call unto me and i shall answer you" ,it  simply states that whenever we call him (to god) he's just there, he's just around us, he's always  with us and he's absolutely hear and give what we want. God is so powerful. Remember, he made us, he made everything! God love us  'til eternity. God suffered everything just to save us. We are the sinners, and he is the savior. He died for us, so as a repay for what he suffered, we must love him more than ourselves. We must respect everyone around us. Because we, people are god's replica. Just don't forget that, God is there.. and he will be there for us , FOREVER!

Semi-Final Examination

1.) Everyone has met Richard Cory. Someone who suffers inner turmoil but appears outwardly calm. How did you deal with this personality? Write a descriptive essay about this idea. (There is no need to mention the persons name.)

• Richard Cory is a wealthy man. He had almost everything. Everything he wanted he gets. But somehow, Richard Cory is not happy of what he have . People think around him that he has everything. They get jealous when Richard Cory passes by. They want to be like Richard Cory. But, one thing is that,Richard Cory felt incomplete and miserable because of the missing piece of his life and that is to have a family and friends. By that, the personality of Richard Cory is a good example of being salient. He is one of a kind. His attitude of being outwardly calm of hid real emotions is like hiding the truth behind lies.Though he has the royal blood,he did not use his power to get what was missing to hid life. Although it doesn't state in the poem what was really the problem of Richard Cory specifically,but i believe that he had a depression that he decided to end up his life by putting a bullet on hid head.

2.) Compare and Contrast Richard Cory with Miniver Cheevy.

• Richard Cory who has everything; the luxuries, wealthy, popular,etc. People think that he has everything. A rich person in their town.Miniver Cheevy is a poor man. he admired Richard Cory because of his position in life. They have the same problem and that is being alone and miserable of not having their own family and friends that they could share their love to them and experience to be happy and complete. But for me, Miniver Cheevy is more pitiful because he is poor. He don't have everything unlike Richard Cory. But Richard Cory didn't carry his depression, so, he decided to end up his life by putting a bullet to his head.

3.)Suppose you have already discussed the poem Miniver Cheevey in your class. Construct 4 Questions that would process students understanding  about the theme of the poem.

• Who was Miniver Cheevey? Why he loved the old days?
• Why he cursed the commonplace? Sight some ideas why he did it.
• Explain this statement :  "Miniver scorned the gold he sought,but sore annoyed was he without it ;Miniver thought ,and thought, and thought, and thought about it".
• After reading the poem,what reaction comes up into your mind? What's the poem all about? Why do you think Edwin Arlington Robinson wrote this poem? Explain.

Vygotsky's Principle of Social Constructivism

1. Learning and development is a social, collaborative activity.

• For me, learning states that learners must individually discover and transform complex information ,checking against old rules or methods and revising rules/methods when they no longer work. There should bean active monitoring and consequent regulation and orchestra of one's cognitive process. Construct meaning by joining what is to be learned to what has been experienced earlier ,to guide learners to remember information that provide the basic building blocks for new learning experiences . Collaborative learning provides plenty of "wholesome" experience  through casual connections, comparisons, and illustrations. Emphasis on interactive learning approaches .

2.School learning should occur in a meaningful context and not be separated from learning and knowledge children developed in the "real world".

• Schools examples should be in real life situation because education aim to develop the spiritual, moral ,mental and physical capabilities of the child/student, provide him with experiences in the democratic way of life, and inculcate ideas and attitudes necessary for enlightened , patriotic upright and useful citizenship. Greater focus on values formation in all subject areas. Emphasis on helping every student or learner. Emphasis on the development of self reliant and patriotic citizens and to develop of critical and creative thinking.
